These twelve weeks have been quite a ride that I have enjoyed for the most part. Although I have gained knowledge about blogs, RSS feeds, podcasts, etc, I have only scratched the surface of what web 2.0 has to offer.
It would be fantastic if VBPL could use these platforms to widen the number of staff who can participate in trainings. Right now, branches can only send a handful of people. If trainings were taped and podcasted, for instance, everyone could benefit. We know what exists, but if we don't as a library system use it, all this knowledge is really useless.
Yes, I would participate in future trainings of this sort. Read previous paragraph. This training was really confusing in the beginning, but once I understood the process it was okay. Some may have been frustrated at the start and given up too soon. Paramount point is please make sure links work. Very frustrating when what you are learning about is filtered out by the city.
I bid ye all adieu. Happy blogging!
PS Maybe I should pick up a book and read now.

Are you stopping your blogging? I've enjoyed reading your thoughts and opinions and would like you to continue (if you would be so kind!). Thanks, too, for your concern - all is well (well, if not well, all is back to normal - whatever that may be! :-)!!)
I will continue my sporadic prattles just for you! Don't you feel special? By the way I am so relieved that you are back to normal (my sympathies to Don). Don't ever freak me out again.
Ok - I promise!! Enjoy the weekend - it's our last until May!!
Congrats! You completed 30 things, ranted with your peers and evolved as a lifelong learner. Isn't technology a beautiful thing?
